Whenever iBook reward flight ... which is fairly often lol ! I always book them as2 single flights i.e Ido the outbound as soon as it’s available and then the return when that gets released.

This way I’ve always got what I’ve wanted. Also you can always amend your flights either to a different date, or route or if something else gets released later on for an amendment fee of just £30 per person.
