We ordered stuff like yoghurts, milk, cereal, crisps and it was a total waste and massively expensive. Don’t know why I bothered. My kids didn’t like the dairy, the bananas were something crazy like £3 for 4 and they ate so much less than at home probably because of the heat.
DDP ended up covering the whole stay and we still ended up with 38 snacks to bring home...

We didn't and had way too much food. We packed some cereals and cereal bars from home (but most didn't get eaten). I would just pack some bits but don't go overboard

Taking cereals. The that’s it. There is plenty to eat and drink on dining plan. There are water fountains and refillable mugs

Sorry...

Hi, here’s a current list of what they sell in the grab and go section of SSR. Lots of the items are snack credits and you can get larger packs of bottled water and milk. Yes it’s more expensive but for convenience sake it might be worth it.

We always have a car and will head to Walmart after check in for crates of water and breakfast bits and other snacks. We do the QSDP and are not fans of the cooked breakfasts in Disney. Would rather buy some cereal and milk for the week from Walmart for $10 than use a snack credit each day on a small bottle of milk. We love hitting the sweet shops and bakeries on the last day to splurge the remaining credits.

if you want a few bits but not loads try dibber angelbabe's grocery delivery service - she can pick up as much or as little as you want food/toiletries ect and deliver to the resort and her charges are really reasonable esp if you make use of the parcel holding service too. I spent more before we went in the sales than I did while there and got some great bargains too.

For me a grocery shop is a must as I don't drive and ds is dairyfree and does not like the soy milk they do onsite. He can be very strict on what he will eat on any given day due to his asd so knowing I have things to hand he will def eat makes life a little easier.

Part of the fun for us is having a browse at different snacks and treats in the supermarkets.
