Mobile Excuses!

So tomorrow is ADR day and 10.30 - 11.30 I also have a management team meeting. These always overrun!

So how do I a) get out of it or b) leave early! I’ve already lost 4 grandparents on previous ADR/FastPass days 😀

Severe diahorea. Announce loudly “I’m going to be in the toilet for quite some time. I will have my tablet/phone with me to pass the time.”

Not sure what you do, but could you possibly have another meeting to go to at 11.15 for a conference call with a client...book a room for this, and go in and sort your ADRs?

Every meeting I go into with clients or otherwise, I tell them at the start “I have a hard stop at X, if you want to keep going, that’s fine but I’m getting up and leaving then”.

Yes last year I had the foresight to have booked a meeting room and a fake meeting but it seems to have slipped my mind this year. I’d better book one in for fastpass day now while I remember it!

My old boss used to book fake meeting all the time. Then he forgot one one was fake and turned up for it
