Jilly and Willy's First. Meemee's 6th the day i missed

www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=351691Date 11/9/09 to 25/9/09
The cast
Me: 52 years, been to Disney 10 times, slightly OCD that tight I only breathe in.
Al: 52 years, my OH, Driver and pathfinder
Meemee: me mother, 75 years, ailments too numerous to mention has an ECV we call it the COC (Chariot of Carnage)
Our Willy. 50 years, Me brother a Disney first timer. Has a slight look of Humpty Dumpty.
Jilly: Willies OH 50 Has rheumatoid athritus doesnt let it get her down.
To day I am going to try to do photos so I hope it works

This morning I could see Meemee wasnt herself

I could see the improvement immediately.
She looks sooo soooo happy!
So today there is no deviating from THE PLAN
Everybody has to stick with the programme.
We are up to 22 lengths of the pool now.
A thought has occured if swimming is so good for you,
why are whales so huge?
Mr. Magoo our driver (AL) still hasn't noticed the spider which our Willy has now placed under the tarpaulin near the pool.

Its hairy legs are just sticking out from under the middle flap.

We took a trip to Walmart. Incidentally we turn right on to us 27 and I dont think we come off.

I bought some breakfast.
I also bought fresh pasta and a quantum of salad stuff for dinner.
(Just in case the rest of the estate called round for dinner)
I have also been buying a positively palletable Cabernet Sauvignon for 2.39 dollars.
I didn't note the name but I think its oak something.
Clint wasn't there when I went in.
He was there when I came out.
He spotted my giant lettuce and did a rendition of one of Elvis's lesser known songs
Polk Salad Annie.
I couldn't help him out today, I only know the first two lines and the chica bon bit in the chorus.
I only did one chica bon just to let him know I wasn't completely happy with the song choice this morning.

Back at the villa I cooked an elephantine breakfast and prepped up the pasta and salad for dinner.
I also defrosted the meatloaf and bolognaise our Willy knocked up last week.
We arrived at Epcot at 12 noon.

Today was my favourite day.
We had a last go on the golf ball thing. This is Meemees favourite, it is quite sad.
She doesn't think she'll make it next year, the heat and the journey has been too much for her.
Mindst you she has been knock knock knocking on heavens door for the last 5 years so who knows.

Called into Innoventions to taste the coke.
Yes the Italian one does taste like "Nats"
A really pleasant thing happened when we came out of there.
I realised I had forgotten to pick up my park map.
I dont really need one but I have to have one tucked round my belt.
Its sort of a comfort thing.
I was having a bit of a moan about it on my way out.
This guy Tom sweeping up outside asked if he could help me.
I told him it was nothing I had just forgotten my map.
He insisted on trailing back to get one for me.
I was really touched that he did that for me.
I made a note to stop off at guest relations and get a compliments form.

We started off in Canada and did the film.
Well worth a look if you are willing to stand.
We trekked on to England and caught the tail end of the Beatles murdering The long and Winding Road.
Poor song choice when its boiling hot and you have to get right round to Mexico.
We then hit France and were undecided wether to watch the acrobatic waiters or Impressions.
We opted for the waiters.
Very good although the chairs were a tad wobbly.
The temperatures must have been in the 90s now so we stopped for a quick drink and a bath in Morrocco

Dont take any notice of the date at the bottom I haven't mastered the camera yet.

We got to America but decided not to hang about for the next show.
We headed on to Italy.
They were doing a very poor version of Romeo and Juliette so we sat by the fountain to have our photo taken.
Since the entertainment was well... crap really, we decided to give our own impromptu performance.
We were gonna sing Nessun Dorma but didnt know all the words.
We sang O Solo Mio to the delight of a small gathering crowd.
Trouble is we didnt know all the words to that either so we substituted them for the words in the Cornetto ad.

Yer see growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional.

We bypassed Germany only stopping for 30 minutes to watch the miniature railway. go round
and round
and round
and round .
We arrived in China the acrobats were magnificent. The film was beautiful.
Again you have to stand.
I can see why they don't have seats because its circle vision.
Unless you are blessed with a neck like her out of the Excorcist, chairs would be no good.
Bit tiring on the legs tho.
We had a look at the Terracotta soldiers and I think my Al is a descendant of them.

Its a crap photo but you will agree there is a likeness.
The boat at Norway was a walk on so we went on, we didn't want to watch the film afterwards.
There is only so many pictures of fishing that one can stomach.
Because we had to wait for the COC we were a bit late getting through.
The CM was about to close the doors for the film to start.
We told Meemee to put the COC on rabbit and raced towards the exit,
Trouble is as we entered the shop she forgot to adjust back to tortoise and she took out a rail of woolly cardies and run over a plastic viking helmet.
They were really nice about it so thats another compliments form that I need.
We swapped Meemee into the wheelchair and Jilly had the COC.
We were entering Mexico and there is loads of glass with artefacts behind them.
We decided to have a go on the boat.
Meemee couldn't get her leg over this one.
It wasn't busy so they insisted on bringing the hoist boat round.
The ramp wasn't level it had a bit of a slope.
This little Chinese lad LIN insisted on shoving her up the ramp.
Our Willy and Al offered to help but he was having none of it.
It must have been an elf and safety rule.
This poor little kid must have only about 7 stone and the wheelchair kept rolling back on him.
Eventually he managed it but didnt seem to lower it down.
I dont know if it was normal but I was sat in the boat and my head was on a level with her feet.
She looked like one of those figureheads they have on Viking longships.
Above this ride is a restaurant with an overlooking balcony.
People were sitting there eating there dinner the next thing Meemee's head floats past them.
Meemee was doing her nut.
I have to admire the organisation though.
We came in to dock and there was Hulk Hogan waiting to get her off.
I bet you owt LIN had radioed on ahead for reinforcements while he went and got his hernia checked out.
On the way out Al and Jilly stopped for a last go on Soarin.
Nemo was a walk on.
The walk in is really good.
The ride is pretty special too.
Little ones must find it a bit daunting though because quite a few were screaming.
Our Willy screamed too.

It was a great day, hope the photos work
