Calico looks interesting - there really are some amazing places to visit.

The view from your hotel room is stunning. We're going to Vegas next year and I'd not considered Vdara but it's going on my list.
We stayed at Elara last year and the Panda Express on your photo was our late night snack destination! So much nicer than a dirty kebab

A really good travel day. I am another who says goodbye to accommodation! Your stop off in Calico was very intriguing indeed. Your hotel suite looks amazing and your bubba grumps food looks delicious. Looking forward to more.

Calico was so up your street... they do ghost tours there at night, I can totally see you being up for that (I on the other hand can't think of anything more terrifying! )

Totally living the dream in that suite, felt far too fancy for lil ol' me!

Haha in our defence the cases weren't all full at this point... we were allowing room for all the shopping! (but yes still totally excessive!)

Paul was happy to get involved in the #usanumberone fun, especially when it involves a hat... that boy loves a hat!

Oh I can definitely recommend the Vdara! Being a non-gaming hotel it has such a chilled-out vibe! The pool area was amazing too and so relaxed... quite the opposite from what we find later in the trip when we stay at Treasure Island! What is great is that you can experience all the buzz and excitement of the casinos in the other hotels on the strip but then return to the lovely tranquil environment of your hotel at the end of the day... perfect balance!

Oh I love Panda Express, perfect late night snack!

It's just the most amazing hotel isn't it? I would totally stay there again in future visits... hands down the nicest hotel I have ever been in!

Stopping at Calico was a great way to break up the long journey, and such a great place to experience too! So glad we added it into the plans!

It seems saying goodbye to holiday accommodation is completely normal... phew!

Haha loving the tip of Bubba 'Grumps' I can promise you I was far from grumpy eating all the delicious food!

Ooo not long for you to wait now! I loved that even though I hadn't been for nearly 7 years it still felt so familiar but with new things to make it new and exciting at the same time!
