Most of the staff who look after the parks and do tours etc have been sacked. I read they may have to close the parks to the public for safety.

All now booked! Fly to Denver and back from LAX. In total about 3,000 miles and many national parks earmarked including Yellowstone.

All parks are open and the only difference is possibility of longer queues at the entrance and shorter opening hours at the visitor centres.

So looking forward to another road trip adventure. Mrs T even gets her wish to go to a rodeo when we are in Cody for a couple of days.

It was never an option not to go. Never even came up when planning the two trips.
