We have MNSSHP on Tuesday, and busch has a similar kids friendly thing this weekend, so hopefully doing that too

Only other ticket we bought is Legoland, so there at some point, and back to Busch at least once, probably twice

Oh... Breakfast! Sosig, hash brown and scrambled egg bagel with a bit of leftover smoked salmon

Did an extra sosig patty and topped it with Pico de Gallo... 15 mins in the air fryer at 400f is too long, so 10 mins next time. The hash browns came out perfectly though!

Edited at 02:55 PM.

B's nap went later than anticipated, so instead of bok tower, we went to a local playground for an hour...

Had a walk round, unfortunately the splash park bit was closed, bit it was too hot anyway! So we took a drive back via winn Dixie for some seafood. Got a couple of massive tuna steaks and a couple of giant lobster tails and a few bottles of wine

You know how they say don't go shopping on an empty stomach? Well don't go shopping in Florida unless you've drank a gallon of water! We came back with SO MANY various liquids

Anyway, dinner tonight is the leftover meat and veggies from last night, and a pack of jambalaya rice. Is taco Thursday!

Rice is cooking now, will be eating in about 45 mins, then it's pool time before B goes to bed...

Oh was it lake Eva park
I love Winn Dixie fish counter for a quick fix but the fish market round the back of the villa or the one across from Wally World for a broil out of this world I can only compare=it to a childhood and now an adulthood memory of all of us sitting on the sea wall out side the family smoke house eating piping hot Arbroath smokies hot off the racks with our fingers still do it and the grandkids love doing the same
We often go for a walk well me when I’ve nicked a neighbour dog and Dh bikes or runs there

That's the one, aye! Lovely place. Apparently the splashpad bit is only open at weekends, so will probably pop back at some point. Wouldve got some crab legs too, but they were massive bags and we only want a couple. The ahi tuna was reduced price, so that's dinner tomorrow...

I'll update my cooking thread later with today's dinner. Enough leftovers to make a couple of nice burritos for lunch or something!

Btw, I've cleared out my inbox now...

While I remember, I brought an old 4-way UK power strip with me from my old desk, I'd cut the plug off back at home, bought a $7 us plug from Walmart, and wired it up, so we can run the Alexa/baby camera/mobile phone in B's room from a single plug to free up some plug adaptors...

Dead simple, took me a little while to figure out the different wire colours, bit all sorted now!

For anyone not confident in DIY electrical skills, you can buy these on Amazon already with an American plug. 😊

Looks like a great holiday so far!
