Uber times

Hey, we are staying near Disneyland in Anaheim but want to get to universal studios for a day... I’ve heard about the hellish LA traffic , so would it be an idea to get an Uber at about 6am to get to universal? Will have 1 extra early hour on our park tickets... any advice? Thanks

You can go to google maps, put in your starting point and destination and then click where it says “Leave now” and change it to the day and time you plan to go and it will show you estimated travel times accounting for what the traffic is predicated to me. For example right now it’s the middle of the night over there so it says the journey is 45 minutes. If I change it to 7am this morning it says it will take up to 2 hours 40 mins and the maps shows where the traffic will be - dark red is where the holdups are.

You can do the same for planning your return. A weekend will be much quieter because most people living in Orange County commute to work in LA so weekends they’ll be off the roads. Otherwise, play around with google maps to find a sweet spot before of after the commuters are out.
