Any Golfers out there

Looking to play some golf with my grandson while at OKW not sure if we will take our own clubs or hire some (never the same as your own tho) we used to get 50% off green fees but now all I can find is 15% off for members and/or sunrise/sunset 9 holes and cannot find actual green fees without ringing the starter. Anyone played recently and can give me an idea of prices for the 3 main courses

My husband played every day in December when we were there. Did just get the DVC discount but found the sunset price really cheap and said it was 9 holes but often got quite a few more in as most of the staff seem to go home! Can’t remember exact price but I think around $29 for sunset but around $99 for full price minus a small DVC discount. Under 16s are cheaper I think.

just checked with BA online and it says we are not allowed to book extra bags on our flight Man to Heathrow (our own clubs) so looks like we will have to hire clubs, not sure why, I wonder if its because its AA to Miami

Can I ask? Did he get to play on his own at that time or was he always put with somebody else?

Sometimes on his own and sometime with others. He played LBV a lot (we have Dvc at SSR). Depended how busy it was. He does actually prefer to be with others and met some lovely people (some he ended up having a couple of drinks with after).

Spoke to the master starter yesterday and he said LBV would be $69 + $49 to hire clubs 4pm tee time. so we are at OKW and had a walk down to the pro shop as he said we only got a 15% discount for DVC members. Booked for 4pm $29 + $21 to hire clubs and should get about 15/16 holes in

Enjoy! Love LBV. Was there in May and birdied ( more luck than judgement 😂 ) the Island Hole 7th. Will never forget that chip out the front bunker ! 🏌️

Tee off was 4.10 but got out a little earlier and paired with a couple from New York, both a little new to golf but that was fine. We played 18 holes and just coming down 17 the message came on the cart that a major storm was in the area and take shelter but we just managed to finish. Greens were good and rental clubs were ok. Might have to take the putter home with me as it worked better than my own back home

So pleased for you. That’s when my husband played most days and usually got 18 in! A bargain at last at Disney!
