Passed ROFR for BWV

Hi everyone, we are over the moon that Disney has waived their ROFR on our first DVC contract at the Boardwalk.
We are buying 200 points with 72 banked from 2019 with a June use year.
We agreed $110 per point and were really getting nervous because of the recent buy backs.
We waited from the 10th July so around 39 days.

Happy days looking forward to joining you all.

Well done you for being successful but for also making the decision 😁. We contemplated DVC many years ago when kids were small but to be honest we didn’t really have the money. Fast forward 20 years and we could have saved a fortune! Kids now keen to look to do this using some of their future inheritance (ie my money) but it’s so confusing. Jason kindly sent some info but I’m still confused. There are 2 DDs both with partners and currently we also go with them. Sure to have their own kids in not too distant future so how on earth do you work that out!

Congratulations- BWV is our favourite resort. In fact it’s possibly our favourite hotel anywhere- we love it. Was meant to be there at Xmas but just cancelled that so I don’t risk my points.
Hopefully next year.

Welcome home. We own at the Boardwalk and I never tire of saying there. My favourite moment is when we drive up to check in and they say Welcome Home. Such anticipation knowing we are going back to our favourite place.

Great choice as not only are you able to take a ferry to HS or walk into Epcot and then onto MK via the monorail but BWV has that extra flexibility of choosing between amazing Boardwalk view rooms or its standard view studio's starting at just 9-points per night, one of the lowest at WDW.

Congratulations and happy planning for your first member vacation.

Or walk to HWS. We always walk it- it’s not far at all.

The big advantage to owning at Boardwalk is the higher likelihood of the standard view rooms which IMO are the best value rooms in DVC. Get one far from lobby opposite tennis courts, and there’s a back stairwell which brings you out on the corner, closest to HWS and it’s a quick walk along the canal path from there.

Congrats! I love the waterslide at the Boardwalk. The stairs to climb the slide are the friendliest and the slide is great (despite the clown face).
