We did this when we where there

As you intend to visit all the league pitches and not just premier I would save the wirral for tranmere, You can either walk New Brighton or a nice walk which has to be timed correctly is to Hlibre Island.
On the Liverpool/Everton side you could take the walk along crosby marina to see the iron men. Alternatively park up at Widness and walk along the river under the runcorn widnes bridge. Or just off the M62 is a short walk up to the head on the hill. Another waterfront walk is from Albert Dock to otterspool. If you have cycles in your camper that is a lovely route. To the north of Liverpool the Cheshire lines path or the Canal through Maghull is another option. Moving towards Machester you have Carr Mill Dam among other great short walks.

Sounds like a great idea, but as there aren't enough match days in a single season (and most leagues kicking off at the same time for the whole league on each match day) it would take you at least 4.5 seasons to see a match in each english stadium (assuming you never missed a matchday and relegation/promotion to the National League was good to you)

23 match days in EFL2, EFL1 and Championship and 19 in the PL makes 88 match days in 4 seasons. So you'd need up to 12 match days the nexy season to cover them all (the 4 you haven't seen and potentially the 8 that have come up from the NL in that time assuming none did a boomerang)

You can half that to 2.5 seasons if you just want to see each of the 92 play but not at their own ground.

You might be able to steal a march on some of the games as some teams play on a Friday night to avoid clashes with larger PL teams that play locally etc.

Either way it should be great fun

There's a lovely walk from Linby to Newstead Abbey if you're visiting Nottingham

This is an easy one for me to answer as it's right on my doorstep and something I did this morning. Anywhere from Sandbanks (Poole) to Hengistbury Head (Southbourne,Bournemouth) which is approximately 8.5 miles of beach.

There’s actually 46 match days on efl and 38 in EPL. And they aren’t all the same match days .
Believe it or not , because of the amount of games that are on fridays /Sunday’s /Monday’s /midweek Odd kick off times etc , re-arranged games , it’s theoretically easy in a season

A couple of years ago we did a game between a few mates - a virtual 92 . Starting in August , and selecting the games each week you would go to in the next 7 days , so none was with hindsight. You could select a match to go to if it was theoretically feasible to get there in time from the previous match .
So a 12 noon kickoff finishing at 2pm , you could do a 3pm kick off the same day if less than an hours drive . You could do Newcastle Saturday evening and Bournemouth Sunday morning if you want

A real life example you could have done Fulham , qpr and West Ham on Saturday just gone .

The winner of our game had virtually visited all grounds by 2nd January . Honestly . Surprised us.
By lots of preparation and fixture planning . Can’t remember if we included cup games but suspect we did

My aim is actually to try to get to see all 92 play both home and away in the same season - in theory that can be done in 92 games but in practice will be many more , but I think it’s doable in a season based on our previous game

I am doing a virtual test of it this season - but allowing only sensible distances - and seeing how it goes .
( I know this season is an odd one but it will give an idea )

I think the biggest difficulty will be getting tickets for the premier teams

Any more guys and girls ?

We have about 8 or 9 months worth of walks to do !

I am sure there must be loads more walks that people do .

Don’t get hung up about it being near a football town - we will be trying to visit much of the country even if it’s not quite so near to footy grounds
