Universal tickets
Looking for tickets for next year, Is £830 a good deal for universal tickets (including volcano bay, 14 day tickets) for 1 adult and 2 kids (one child classed as an adult ticket)
Or do you think it’s worth holding out for a deal for base tickets on somewhere like undercover tourist? Is there ever deals say Black Friday? We arnt that fussed about having volcano bay and aren't that fussed about the park hopping aspect nor the hogwarts express but with the exchange rate being poor is it worth just getting the 14 day tickets? We would likely do 4-5 days in universal. |

If you are not that concerned about park hopping, Volcano Bay, or riding the Hogwarts Express I would buy the 4 or 5 day base ticket. At the moment undercovertourist are selling the 5 day base ticket for $265.04 adult, roughly £220.19, $255.04 child, roughly £211.88. Total for 2 adults 1 child, £652.26. The ticket expires 1 year from order date, looking at your countdown you might need to give it a few weeks before ordering
Not sure if you know but these tickets will have to be used in a 7 day period, including the first day of use. undercovertourist had an offer on a little while ago where you could buy a 2 day ticket and get 3 days free [had to be used by December 2019] but I am not sure if that will come back for next year. There could be a Black Friday offer but I am not 100% sure so the choice is yours if you wait or not.

Yes I did see that deal but like you say will it come back for next year, who knows not sure I want to risk waiting and prices go up.
We would be using them over a consecutive 5 day period while we are offsite, after that we move to Disney and won’t be venturing back offsite so won’t be needed for longer. I was thinking if we got 14 day passes we could upgrade these to annual passes and get a cheap deal for the following year for just universal and seaworld. |

If you are thinking of an annual pass why not just buy them outright?

Personally I'd hold off as I'm sure offers will appear on the official website next year. This year you could get 4 days for the price of 2, with the ticket valid until Dec 19. The offer lasted to June I think.
