Can anyone recommend a book about the building of Walt Disney World?

Can anyone recommend a book about the building of Walt Disney World? I'm looking for something that has everything ranging from the idea to the planning and the construction of Walt Disney world. I've looked on the internet but it's a bit vague. After recently returning it's amazing how the little I know about it and it's something I'd love to know more about.

Not a book by I highly recommend the podcast Connecting with Walt which may satisfy your curiosity, a lot about Walt's life but also the building of both parks. Its from a few years back but let me know if you have trouble finding it.

Ah I hadn't realised they'd relaunched it with newer episodes, I'd listened from the start through the original ones (and they do mention a couple of books in there - not that I can recall them). Will have to add this one back to the playlist

Not quite what you are looking for as this book covers Epcot but shows the life cycle of Epcot coming into existance.

Try
Aaron Goldberg
The Disney Story: Chronicling the Man, the Mouse, and the Parks

Also a really good one is
The Walt Disney World That Never Was: Stories Behind the Amazing Imagineering Dreams That Never Came True

Also if you'd like to read about the business side of Michael Eisner's 'Disney Decade' where the built Epcot, the Epcot resorts, Hollywood Studios and rides like Splash Mountain, but also delves a lot into the boardroom wars that eventually saw Eisner ousted and Bob Iger come in, read Disney War, which is a great book but long and detailed.

I enjoyed Realityland by David Koenig. that covered planning, construction, opening, behind the scenes, issues with strikes and sponsors etc. very interesting and a lot of new information. I'm now reading one about Disneyland by the same author
