We always do pool and QS at a resort on day one. Kids always tired but try to keep them up to get their body clocks a bit more in sync. Tried to get to Disney Springs one year and the little one fell asleep waiting for food

Unpopular opinion here - we always go into Epcot and do teppan edo our first night as we love it so much. Others say they are too tired for TS but it helps us stay awake!

Eek, room service is 2TS? Won't be doing that then!

The boardwalk pizza window sounds good, where exactly is that on the boardwalk?

You could walk to Epcot as easily as Boardwalk.

I have heard REALLY bad things about this pizza. What about boardwalk bakery or crew cup Lounge? The lounge doesn’t accept DDP but is cheap for Disney, doesn’t need booking and does AMAZING burgers.

It’s right near to Boardwalk Bakery.

The pizzas are fine from there...we’ve enjoyed them.

We didn’t go to Epcot on our arrival night as we wanted to ensure we had last day ticket validity and we weren’t planning any park free days during our stay. I prefer to use my tickets on the last rather than first day as I get more out of that

We always do ESPN at the boardwalk on our first night at Beach Club. It's a five minute walk and unless its a Saturday or there is some big American football game on there's never much of a wait.

I don't think I could handle the stress of actually having an ADR with a set time I needed to make with all the variables of flight delays, Magical Express etc.

I confess to having room-service the evening I get there. It’s my treat (first of many !).

I go in Nov so it’s dark by the time I get to the hotel - feels like the middle of the night and I’m not in the mood to go looking for food !
