Deerfield Beach hotel?

Hi,
Has anyone stayed in either the Comfort Inn Oceanside or Club Lux Resort Deerfield Beach?
I keep looking at reviews but am unsure on both!

Neither of those but it's a fabulous place and Flanigan's is our favourite restaurant anywhere.

We stayed in what used to be the Howard Johnson, not sure if it's either of those 2- had a ice cream parlour on ground floor. also ate at the restuarant that goes out into the water, watched the sharks scare the surfers!

We stayed there too, it's the Wyndham now.

No but have stayed at the Wyndham which is right over from the beach which is lovely, very friendly staff and staying there again this October for 2 nights at the end of our holiday before flying home from Miami.

Is that the big one in the corner? That has live music? We ate at Burger Craze which was attached to the Wyndham last year but kept looking at Flanagan�s which looked interesting!

Yes it is. It's so friendly and relaxed and the food is amazing. Never had live music when we were there though.

We havent stayed at the Comfort Inn but stopped at it and had a subway at the one joined on to hotel.
The location is on the front (not sure exactly what the beach is like there) but I didnt really like the reception area of the hotel. Dont think I would stay there.
We have stayed in the area several times and parking is a bit of a problem so the hotel does eradicate that issue.

Loved Deerfield- we stayed in a lovely little hotel right across the road from the beach and within walking distance of an Irish bar (Flanagan's?). We travelled up and down the A1A road staying in many lovely stops many years ago and it was an easy, lovely route and the homes on that road were amazing. The water was quite choppy and cooler than the gulf coast but it�s fabulous for surfing etc. Also less than 2 hours from Miami. You will have a great time.
