Winter Garden is very different to Celebration. It is an authentic old town with original old buildings rather than a new town built to look old. It has alot more businesses and shops. The Downtown area is far more authentic and less manicured than Celebration. It also has a huge new modern outdoor shopping center ironically called Winter Garden Village that isn't really a village at all but does have loads of good chain shops.
I can highly recommend the French Pastry Shop and the Saturday Farmers Market. The Winter Garden Theater in one of the pictures is great as well. We saw Billy Elliott for about $35 and the production seemed better than the video I have seen of the West End one even though the theater is quite small. It is a great place for a wander and feels a million miles away from Orlando.

The cycle ride sounds fab. Our wee ones will be too wee for that. The evening in HS was excellent.
