Virgin check in questions?

Did online check in today but it told me that I had to visit desk or kiosk to check in, although it let me online check in the other 3 persons on the booking.

Anyone had this happen to them?

Also how long before the flight does check in and bag drop open?

Flight is at 1045 from Heathrow

Airlines pick random passengers for extra security checks. You have been picked and can only check in at the desk.

It happened to me today, so annoying. DS all checked in but it wouldn’t accept mine. I’ve never had this with any other airline

I’ve had this happen to me - as others have said it’s random. Checkin / bag drop usually opens 3 hours before the flight, so 7.45am

Well turns out there was a problem, been at the airport for over and hour, still not checked in

I missed the flight, still do t know if they’ll sort it in time for the next flight
