At disney hotels there is a retractable line over the bath that you can use for drying swimming costumes, clothes that get wet in a the rain etc, when I do any laundry I just pop it into the dryer, not sure it would dry well in the room.

If there is going to be more than the 2 of us I take canvas shelves for the wardrobe as never enough draws for 3 or 4 of us in a room but depends on the resort only do this for PORS & POFQ, canvas shoe rack for the bathroom door for items like hats, sunglasses and small items so that everyone knows where there stuff is. Also we take a dual voltage travel kettle as we drink tea and don't want to wait 30 minutes plus for a drink first thing in the morning. Multi extension plug to charge all the devices but the hotels are now putting charging points in the rooms now. Pop up basket for dirty clothes I can not think of anything else at the moment.

I would say hangers. Never enough for your clothes. Rooms come with coffee machine, fridge, iron & board, hair dryer, safe, plenty of usb ports, alarm clock.

Tea bags.
Travel kettle.
Cheap coat hangers.
A pop up box large enough for magic bands and wallets and sunglasses so they don’t get scattered around the room and lost.
Anti bac wipes.
Plastic cereal bowls if you’re going to eat cereal in your room for breakfast. I’m still using the ones we bought at Disney 10 years ago!
If you are larger than a size 12 and want to be able to wrap a towel around you easily then a bath towel. My son and hubby can’t get the Disney hotel towels around themselves.
A shower cap. I want to hose down often if we go in summer but don’t want to wash my hair three times a day!

Some great tips. We’re also staying on site for first time but We’re doing a split stay five nights on site, rest villa with one or two nights at universal. Not sure if it’s worth us unpacking at Disney or getting packing cubes for those five night.

Is there no kettle in the room? Why does it take thirty minutes to get a cup of tea? Or have I got in a muddle?

No kettles in rooms. We have packing cubes and one case only will be for the first 5 nights and everything else packed in the other so we don’t have to open it at all until we get to the condo .

Hi kettles not required, when you arrive ask for a tea kettle and they will provide a proper kettle in minuets.

Don't forget a 4 way adapter. Saves the need for loads of adapters and means you can charge multiple phones / cameras at the same time. Have a lovely time.
