AK avatar land...do I need to watch the film?

We have some fast passes to the above in august. I have never seen the movie and OH is threatening to watch it before we go.

When I d0c 0 .,id try and watch the film I got bored after 15 minutes...does my lack of education mean I wont understand the rides?

Don't worry... there's not just 1, but 2 pre-show opportunities on FOP that explain what's going on. You'll be fine. Navi River Journey doesn't need much explanation... just picture a really cool IASW with alien flora and fauna.

You don’t really need to, but it would help make more sense of some things.

No need really, you get info as you prepare to ride. You'll just be blown away by the ride experience, it's breathtaking!

Think I saw Song of the South years ago, mix of live action and cartoon isn't it? Zipadee Do Dah?

I have seen the film which I quite liked, but I dint think it added to my enjoyment of the area or rides.
