Best place to stay Miami Orlando
We’re flying into Miami international in October - it’s our first time indirect. We’re not going to attempt the drive till the morning so looking for somewhere about an hour out of Miami on the way to Orlando. We’ll just sleep then get on the road the next morning so not too bothered about how fancy the hotel is, just want clean and good location - any recommendations please? Thanks

We are staying in the Residence Inn by Marriott Miami West/FL Turnpike - about 20 mins from airport but puts on on the route for the next morning..

We usually stay at the cheapest Holiday Inn as close as possible to the airport. I don't want to drive much at all after a long flight. We did get a shuttle to hotel one year and collect car next day. Small saving but a Pfaff.
This year we stayed at Hilton Garden opposite Dolphin Mall. 15 min drive, and good for a browse of shops and the food hall there. Cost £85.

We stayed at Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon last year just for one night before driving up to Orlando in the morning.
Its south of the airport but really easy to get to, just off the motorway. Lovely hotel with great views of the Miami sky line. |
