DD is EdExcel so is a bit different which I didn’t realise. Today was Macbeth and poems then next week is Inspector Calls and Jekyll & Hyde with unseen poetry in one exam

The School can choose the texts the students study - one pre-19th Century, one post 19th and a Shakespeare text (plus poems). My DS today had Macbeth and Pride & Prejudice.
I forced him to watch the Colin Firth version of P&P.. I claimed it was revision but really I just wanted a reason to watch it again! lol

Yes possibly, we are under Surrey County. I honestly thought that different exam boards just chose different texts or questions within those texts but it seems that the whole exam structure is different
