Traumatic morning. DD not pleased with her results, I was, 4,5,6s. She had a nightmare 18month through trauma, deaths and bullying so I'm really happy with her. College she wanted to go to didn't want to accept her on her course for biology and had to return to her school to get her grade boundaries for each separate science subject for then to assess it. She had a complete meltdown (suffers from anxiety to begin with) after leaving the college and returned to school upset. School were fab! Took her to one side, discussed her results and she is now returning to her school sixth form to study a level biology and chemistry and btec in health and social care and extremely happy child once she had left. Now I got to try and get her back on the school bus haha.

Dear god I hope not! My daughter would be mortified even though she did well 😳

Only at a school level when the league tables are released.

Don't think I have every seen individual levels released in the media.

GDPR would have a field day.

So proud of my DS. He got fantastic results & will be able to do his chosen A levels at college. The biggest surprise was English. He got a 3/4 in his mocks & felt he was really struggling with it. Fast forward to today & he got a 7/8! It made me feel quite emotional.

So much to be proud of here, and even to those who didnt quite get what they wanted, we are all such proud mums for the efforts they have made. Lets not forget the enormous pressure all of them are under these days, they have all done so well!

And breathe... and wine! Cheers!

We had an uneventful day in the end. My DS passed all 9 - mix of 8,7 and 6s. So proud and so relieved.
Off to enroll at 6th form next week.
I hope you all have a restful night as I'm sure we all had restless sleeps last night and have had varying levels of stress today!

Only 2 years to the next set of exams 😬😬😬😂😂😂😂

Well we are presently supporting a house full of girls (roughly 18) celebrating the fact that the time is over. They all done pretty well.
My dd got nearly all 7s (old days As) and a distinction .
Was a very nerve racking morning, glad it’s over.
For those who think they didn’t do well. You done well to get to this point, you done well to take the exams, you done well to get through the tough times.
Your results do not define who you are, you are the same young person you were before you opened your results.
Well done to all the kids who took them and got through them.
Well done to all the parents and carers who were with them every step of the way.
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Late to the party but pleased with DS . He got the 7 in maths he needed to do that at college, and 4s,5s and 6s in the rest bar one 3 ( that doesn't stop him doing what he wants at college)

Now just 2 years of A levels trying to help him with maths , accounting and business studies

Fantastic results for DS, results ranging from Distinction Star, 1 x 7 all the way down to 3. But he passed the important ones he needed and going on to study at UTC that he had his heart set on. We went to enrol straight after. Really proud i could burst!
Really stressful day but double celebration mum had a cancer scare and got the all clear after having an ultrasound and a mammogram.
So double celebration today x

Excellent. Very well done to him indeed. I wondered how he had got on.
