We’ve chosen Pop century but here’s a link to a similar question with some useful info on each of the resort’s. We’ve not been to either but chose on which one we liked the look of the rooms the most.

We have stayed at both AOA felt a bit newer and we liked the pool and the theming a bit more. I woudl stay at whichever was cheapest though

To be honest though there is very little between them

We stayed in Pop last year for a few nights.
The rooms were recently renovated with the new fold down beds which is why we choose there.
AOA theme might be better suited for a 9 year old, more Disney'y.
AOA is one the other side of the lake and you could almost consider both properties to be part of one larger complex. They share the same skyliner service, you can use the food courts in either if you don't mind the walk.

We’ve picked POP fir our trip at Easter. I’ve got tens though so they preferred the theming, if they’d of been younger I’d definitely of picked AoA.

Had very short stays at both. I like the rooms better at pop with the refurb but the theming at AOA is fabulous. Ds was just coming up for 10 when we first stayed at AOA and he loved it.
