Worth saying that you can book a package through the WDTC uk for tickets and room now, then wait and watch the prices. When they get down to a level you'd be happy with DIY, call Disney and see if they will add it on at that or a similar price. This has always worked for us and has the small benefit that it is ATOL protected. If you don't like the price they give you, you can still book DIY then.

Not necessarily, just price it up yourself and take it into a TA and get them to beat it (I do this every year and always get a deal - biggest discount was 23% off Virgin advertised price).

Last few trips have been booked through Thomas Cook (package pulled together with their Signature team) although nothing we are having is from TC themselves (direct flights with BA for ~£600pp in school holidays, on-site at Disney for 2 weeks, Disney tickets and hotel in Fort Lauderdale for 3 nights). Also got $200 gift card even though the offer had dropped to $100.

So you can still get DIY prices through a TA (and ATOL protected etc), there’s always a deal to be done.
