Visa application

My daughter is travelling to India and we are currently filling out the e visa for her.

However I’m a little stumped and thought Dibbers might be able to help:

Once part of the form says ‘Place of Issue’ and from what I’ve googled it says if you’re from USA it could be “US Dept of State”

The only thing I can see on my daughters passport is “HMPO” under ‘Authority’

Do you think this is what needs to be inputted in the ‘place of issue’ box?

Yes. HMPO is Her Majesty's Passport Office and is the authority that issues UK passports.

My 16 yo is off to India next month. I received a 7 page instruction guide to how to fill in the form!

Don’t forget to print out the visa in colour once you get the approval email. It took them about 24h to approve it!

She’s going to Kochi in the south west. Trekking through the Western Ghats, doing some community work & then having some free time to do some activities around Kochi.

Our daughter had the chance to go to Texas with her friend a week after she got back but the flight price was ridiculous when we looked so we decided against it.

I’d love to visit New England, I flew into Boston last year on my way to New York in October and the colours were amazing as we flew in to land and looked like everyone had a yacht!

Have you been before?

Her trip sounds fabulous!

I went to Boston 10 years ago but haven’t been back! We are there almost 4 weeks taking in NH, Vermont, Maine and fibally Biston/Cape Cod. Should be fun!

Ah it’ll be incredible. Will you be doing a trip report or photo report of any kind? I’d love to see some pictures of it, sounds like a wonderful holiday.
