If you can go 3 times, even just for the 1st couple of hours, you would easily do all the houses. You just go to a different holding area each night, hit the main house in that area 1st then do the others in that area. If you plan it it's easily done with out much wait times. I've followed that plan 3 years running and it works every time, usually managing 4 houses in 1st couple of hours before the queues build up.

I suppose it depends whether you have enough free nights really to do it.

Excited about Disney
|
Hi am new to this, wasn't planning on visiting universal this trip as it is supposed to be Disney only. Last visited in 2015 and was a little disappointed by universal, however was wondering if it's worth a visit for the Halloween horror Nights. Does it work similar to Thorpe park where you queue for ages to go through the mazes and attractions. Is the overall theaming worth going for too?

The time you wait in Queues for the mazes(called houses at HHN) really depends on lots of different factors. The day you go, the time you get there, if you have express passes or not...etc.
I think its worth going. You can also ride the rides at Universal during the events with smaller waits! The Scare Zones are amazing and you dont have to queue for those.

The Frequent Fear pass doesn't seem to include Saturdays, is that normal?
"The Frequent Fear Plus Pass entitles one (1) guest admission to all of the following 2020 Halloween Horror Nights event nights: September 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25, 27, 30, October 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and November 1 " |

It's waaaaaay better than Thorpe Park. We loved HHN so much but couldn't go back the next year so decided to try Thorpe Park instead. We did have fun, but the scare zones and houses were no way as good as at Universal. You'll love it! The theming is excellent, and yes there are queues, but as others say if you play it right then you can avoid the crazy lines. If a house has a 3 hour queue just do something else and come back when it's less busy. The holding pens before it opens help too, but you need a day ticket to be able to use those.
