She’ll be 10 so still allowed fancy dress & it’s pretty much just the basic avatar costume clothing wise it’s just a ton & very annoyingly detailed face paint & fancy hair 😊

We normally do DHS first, as it's a smaller park and it eases us into the Theme Park vibe. MK is day 2.

I always start my first full day at my favourite park: Hollywood Studios, with a nice meal at the Hollywood Brown Derby. MK is usually day two or three. MK is my least favourite park at WDW (though I still really enjoy it - I just like the others more!)

I'd just go to Epcot to save any stress.
We did AK on our first ever visit and have kept up with this tradition. Will be doing the same this year. The other parks are great to get you into (or back into) the way of things.

Couldn't have said it better myself , this time I've got AK the first day for a FOP if I can make it.

MK isn’t my favourite park and it’s often not the first park we visit. I’m happy to see it at any time during our holiday.

We have done all of the parks on the first day over the years.

I don’t think it is essential to go to magic kingdom first. It will still be there in day 2.

We never ever ever do MK on day one and always do Epcot. I don’t know why really, feels more of an ease in. ONCE we stayed at poly and broke tradition and did MK first, hated it! Too much for us too fast everyone ended up fraught and cranky and we left after about 2hrs! 😂

I have never done it on the 1st day, I plan according to the busy day guides, I don't mind which park we do first, any disney park is special for the 1st day for me.
