Expected crowd levels in August have dropped!

Received a notification from Touring plans of significant drops in expected crowd levels for our dates. We are there 9 - 23 August and the second week especially is expected to be very quiet. I'm guessing they have had people move reservations back a couple of weeks for star wars. Personally although I like Star Wars I would rather wait till it calms down so I am very happy. For example on Tuesday 20/8 Epcot is showing crowds of 3 out of 10 and the other 3 parks all showing 1 out of 10 !

Lucky you. You may even have the place to yourselves! I don’t think touringplans know what to make of October yet when we go

I really hope this proves to be true. We leave the day before GE opens so I suspect we'll start to see a rise in crowds for the last few days of our holiday as people start to arrive in preparation for opening. I hope we get some quiet park days before this though.

Touringplans is a site you pay a small fee for a years use. It gives you crowd levels and predicted queue times and I use this in conjunction with the Dibb busy day guide to make my plan. Also have a room finder section for onsite stays. You can see the view from every room at Disney and they will fax a room request for you.

Well I hope they are right... we come to Florida every summer and leave the first few days of September to get the kids back to school.
I was just thinking as each year passes how busy it was all becoming.
We now don’t go to any parks at weekends as I don’t find them fun!
I hope this is true!
