We have it a lot in DLP, kids even know now to spread across the width of the queue to stop and just refuse to move. When they were in pushchairs I never stopped them from kicking out when people pushed in front. We had one time when we were sat on the curb waiting for the parade to start someone actually come up and move my 1 year old out of her pushchair so they could sit their child in it! We went balastic! CM's came running over and started to speak to us! I was fuming! They then realised what had happened and the family was escorted away.

And to be honest it’s all relative. As the queues get even more ridiculously long the more people there will be that we will see being the excuse me people. That would be just maths really.
I’m sure 10years ago the lines never used to be this bad.
If you do have to go speak to a CM at the front of the queue they will usually let you wait at the exit and then your partner will have to mention you are waiting there for him. It happened a couple of times when me or DH needed to take one of the kids and they were fine.

As for queue jumping if it is 1 or 2 people especially with children then I can understand this may be a toilet issue. When a drunken group of men join a few ladies (which started off with one lady that was joined gradually suddenly jump in front and joke about the fact they are doing it that is rather galling. I didn't say anything as I had a while to wait.
I do think that if there is a 3 hour queue for rides they should put some toilets in the line to prevent this though ( not that it always takes 3 hours for a kid or an adult to need the loo lol)

We were livid. I actually thought my dad was going to punch the guy and that's not my dad at all.
It's the sheer cheek and nerve of people who then stand and argue with you when you confront them that gets me. My dad's in a wheelchair now and we use that to block the way during parades but you still get people trying to push kids or themselves in front of the wheelchair.

We were there over Christmas and it wasn't bad. I'm sorry to say my husband had to leave the N'avi river queue to nip to the toilet and rejoin me, but it was ok, I think those near us knew he had been in the queue.

I really don’t have issue if people need to leave the line if it’s a long wait to go to the bathroom.
Again today at Primeval whirl 4 men came up to the line and some other people near the front of the line were waving to them so what happened, yes they went under the barriers and pushed past everyone else in the line to be with their friends at the front of the line.
It’s just not right and these people don’t even bat an eyelid or seem at all bothered about pushing in.

I think FOP has a agreement for loo breaks as it can be a 3 hour wait.
They also have a sign up saying that the group must be together before they go in through the Mickey heads.
Maybe a CM could given a physical pass if someone comes out of the queue so that they can get back in

I don't let people pass either. I just tell people that their group ahead can just wait until we catch up to them.. I make exceptions for small children only who had to go to the loo and only then if its child plus 1.
Some then try on the 'I do not understand..' ruse... still not getting past.

We had not one, but 2 different groups of several people magically join the line in front of us for Slinky last year. They didn't see the problem.

I gave them a piece of my mind and they offered to let us go in front of them, so I told them they were missing the point - it's not just us they've pushed in front of, but the entire hour-long queue behind them. CM at the merge point didn't do anything about it.

Then, one more managed to get through and join them in the actual loading station.

No chance anyone is getting in front of me! Of course, an adult with a child who has been to the bathroom is a different matter.

Reminds me of the time I took my three nephews/nieces to Thorpe Park. We were in a queue for ages and these two young kids tried to push through so I said sorry go back. Five minutes later a group of 20 blokes did the same. Of course I couldn't let it go as I had already told the two boys, so I stand my ground and say the same. The ring leader squared up to me trying to intimidate me but I stand my ground. In the end they relent and move behind us. However, the ring leader spends the rest of the time queuing stood so close behind me I can feel his breath on my neck, all the time talking to his friends in a language I didn't understand. I had to spend the whole time being bright and breezy for my nephews/nieces whilst all the time expecting to get hit from behind! Luckily nothing happened and we rode before them.

If I can withstand that, nobody is getting ahead of me!
