Disney always has been a business. You pay money and expect Disney to entertain you, but that isn't happening for you now so stop going.

Wrong forum to moan about Disney😀

2021 tickets are not far off £500 but people still see this as good value😮

It amazes that people go like 8 times in a row, year on year and then get surprised the magic is going...

I am more amazed that people go like 8 times in a row, year on year and the magic doesn't go!

I've been with my little ones to Paris once and next year will be my second time going to World with them and then I probably won't be going back until the are much older. So many memories or sharing the special place with them.

I think Disney is ideal to share those special moments with your little ones or every now and then with your other half. I would imagine it would get real boring real quick if I was going every year.

There is a big world out there. Disney is magical - but not if its all you ever do...

£500 / 14 days = £35.71 a day

That is cheaper than Alton Towers...

I do think it's good value at approx £35 a day for unlimited access to 4 parks, 2 waterparks, 2 mini golf courses and of course the boats, buses, monorails and skyliner.

Excited about Disney

There's lots in here from both sides that I agree with. One point that sticks out is a post that shows the rapid profit increase in the last 5 years. This is the same period that tickets prices have also shot up. Now as a business, I'd expect that they love that model. If I were in charge of that business I'd be putting prices up even more. Inevitably, there will come a time when the price rises become unaffordable and visitor levels drop but I expect that price rises will continue to rise way above inflation until the profit start to decline.

Anywhere will loose it's sparkle if you keep going to the same place, doing the same things...
^^^ this x 1000

We are all beyond excited about going back, as haven't been for over 4 years.

I think the story would be different if it was our annual holiday destination ("oh god the price of parking has gone up again", "XYZ attraction is closed/worse", "building works at X park are spoiling the view/traffic flow")

Familiarity breeds contempt, and all that.

How many families find £2000 just to enter a theme park for 14 days good value?

It was £1200 5 years ago
