What’s everyone thinking, finished by the end of August 2020?

I really don't think it's worth cancelling a holiday over.
They have to refurbish at some time and this just happens to be it.
It really won't ruin your holiday the Disney magic is not just about a castle.
Sorry if being controversial but I think you might be overreacting all parks are always refurbing something when you go.

Wait so have the announced how they’re going to do it yet? If Happily Ever After won’t be affected then it can’t be too bad.

From the comments on here you’d think they’d announced they were going to demolish the castle while all park guests stood and watched.

Would be fine if there were not so many huge projects underway and the masses of boarding and empty spaces currently in some of the parks.

You are welcome to your opinion and everyone will have a different view but the concept of going to Disney World with a Castle covered in scaffolding is about as unappealing a prospect as I could ever imagine.

Specially with Epcot being in such a state as well.

Not sure you can compare a ride being down against not being able to get that magical photo in front of the castle.

I am afraid people who have been 10+ times on here sometimes forget stuff like this.

It depends if they put happily ever after projected onto the scrim or not like they did with Magical Mix in Disneyland. It didn’t look toooo bad but the scrim itself wasn’t exactly great.
