And everyone tries to leave a minute after the ball drops! It was a huge disappointment to us, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Definitely book somewhere and see in the new year in comfort!
Ah yes the road closures. We were getting picked up at 6pm from our hotel on 8th and 39th to go to the airport... the driver couldn't actually get to our hotel! Had to meet him at the end of the block on the corner of 9th. Wasn't a problem for us, but caused him a bit of a headache. The car company actually contacted me and asked to pick us up an hour earlier just in case.
