Best hotels for O2?

The Hampton by Hilton just on the DLR line at Prince Albert is lovely. It's really new and an excellent breakfast is included (they also have a monitored car park if you are planning on driving there). It's just three stops on the DLR then the Emirates cable car over to the O2, very easy to do. It always comes up reasonably priced and is our preferred hotel when we go to events at the O2.

its up the side of the main road and then through coach/car park

not at all dodgy its not really a built up area so not that many people about apart from folk going to the 02

Also a Holiday in express about 200 yards further down road from Ibis
