Can i jump in head first too please? (thanks OP!) - very similar 'eeek' moment. I did the ESTA's a month or so back, now my husband has changed jobs ... i cant imgine they will want to clarify his employment, but still niggles me. We should be ok? xxx

Using similar logic, it wont matter.

Also extends to home address for some i suspect

I think Parents names should remain constant though 😂😂

Don't worry about it. They want to know where you are staying on your first night and they will get that from your API. They don't want to know where you are going to be every night of your holiday. If they ask about the different address just say that your original plans changed.

Good advice for a current ESTA, for a new one I’d always go for UNKNOWN as you don’t even need to have booked a place to stay when you get he ESTA.
The authorities will get the info they need from the API

If it helps my husband travelled to Salt Lake City for work about 3 weeks after we booked our last Florida trip (his trip was 9 weeks before we travelled.) I did the ESTA’s for all 3 of us with our Kissimmee address, as we didn’t have the full details of the SLC trip. He had no issues getting into SLC.
