Upgrading Disney Dining Plan?
Hi all
We are staying onsite for 3 weeks with the QSDD. However, I’m thinking of upgrading to the standard DDP just for 1 week. Is this possible to do this? Will is cause confusion with my other 2 weeks? Does anybody have any idea of how much it would cost to upgrade for 1 week? We are a family of 4 Thanks

If you go on the Disney website you can see the cost of both plans so the difference is easy to work out per person per day. However. I think you’d have to upgrade the whole 3 weeks. I’d call them to check.

Ahh that’s a shame We wouldn’t do it for the 3 weeks as love the flexible of quick service instead of ADR’s everyday. Thank you though

You can’t upgrade for a week but you can always pay a couple oop if there’s one or two you really fancy.

I can see the attraction of upgrading for a week, if it were possible. But you can use the TS credits in a flexible way as well. There is no need to be on a timetable unless you want to be. Last trip I rescheduled virtually all of my ADRs to something else on the day and I have booked one or two as I am walking over.
So I would weigh up whether you want to have more restaurant options or not, rather than being tied down in terms of time. But yes, unfortunately can only upgrade for the whole stay. |

It would be quite costly to upgrade for three weeks, but I do agree with Claudette that the TS credits can also be used flexibly, and if you use a few on signatures, you don’t have to plan a TS each day. Over 7 nights last year we only had 4 TS meals because of doing signatures; the rest of the time we ate QS and snacks. It was all plenty of food.
