Ugh, Venice Beach. Such a let down. Like a giant public loo. But good fun before that at Santa Monica and on the bikes and good fun seeing the Observatory and sign. Your lunch picnic looked so nice . What a great idea and it all sounded delicious.
The Grove was one of the only redeeming factors of LA for us, that and the Griffiths Observatory!
It's such a pit isn't it? Sounds really fancy but it's anything but! The bikes were good fun though.
I wished we had gone to Whole Foods again as it was great value for money and really tasty too. I'll be remembering it for next year for sure

Another great varied day.
Bike ride looked fun again, ouch to those parking fees!
Observatory had some fantastic views, loved your pics.
What a lovely picnic you had too.
Yet another great read

We had good fun on the bikes, it was just a shame the end destination was such a dump!
The views from the observatory are amazing aren't they?
We were quite relieved to have a fairly chilled evening, it was well needed

It really was a busy day! It was lovely to just chill out in the evening.
I know he really was, that's why I had to take a photo

Santa Monica Piers looks busy, biking along Venice Beach sounds great too. That traffic is crazy, it would also appear that you get stung for parking everywhere! The pics from the Griffith Observatory are amazing I love whole foods, your picnic was delicious, it’s nice to not dine out for every meal. Drinks at the Grove is a lovely end to the day

I can’t get the Santa Monica song out of my head as I read about today!
Another great day with plenty to see, well apart from the massive Hollywood sign how could he miss it!?!

Haha, sorry about that
Despite Venice Beach and Santa Monica not being quite what we imagined we still had a great day.
I know right? Honestly it's a good job he's got his looks

I've never known traffic like LA traffic and I live just outside of London . We couldn't believe how much we paid for parking over the course of the holiday!
The views from Griffiths Observatory really are amazing, you can see for miles up there
Our picnic was exactly what we needed, such good value and tasty fresh food too.
