BOG breakfast or lunch
Hi
We are going in Aug this year and are on the QSDP so would like to do either breakfast or lunch at BOG on our first full day. At the moment there are no EMH at MK so thinking breakfast wold be good as we could get in before park opening, eat and then try and get on 7DMT? I am guessing that the park hours could change between now and then? We have had a look at the menus and breakfast looks good but so does lunch! So what would you book breakfast or lunch? |

We have booked breakfast to take advantage of a quiet Fantasyland. Still going to book a fast pass for SDMT as no guarantee to getting on what with delays and break downs.
I would suggest trying to get on as many of the other attractions before queues get longer with the masses. |

Only done breakfast but the pre park opening advantage is great. Also day one you are up early anyway. We thought it was a great first day start. Park hrs could change but its unlikely. You can always book both and cancel one later.
Lunch looks good too but we loved getting a head start on SWMT. Can you do both maybe a later lunch and 8am breakfast ? |

I think the food is much nicer at lunch but it can give you a bit of a head start in fantasy land. My preferred tactic is to FP SDMT and use the early advantage to get on Peter Pan with no queue (I like doing it this way to go through the main PP queue which I think is worth seeing)
We usually end up doing both at some point in a trip! It's worth pre-ordering you food as that can give you a bit of an advantage in getting in quicker (I say can because it always used to be the case but last September it really didn't help at all. Maybe too many people know this trick now!)

Thanks for all the comments, think we will go for Breakfast and try and do PP and then get a FP for 7DMT

The only reason we go to BOG is for pre park opening and a head start on Fantasyland. The food is average and I don’t think is otherwise worth the faff.

Hi
I agree with the others in terms of getting to the rides, and FP options. In terms of the food, it's all acceptable and I like the breakfast options. For us though, the big advantage of eating here with ADR is having a guaranteed cool sit down at mealtimes. We have been to MK when every eatery was packed, and it was grim. I don't want to sit in the sun and eat if I am out in it for the rest of the day too.

We did breakfast last year and thought the food was average at best. We did, however, enjoy the surroundings and the master's cupcake was delicious. This year I've made a late lunch reservation; we may try the lunch offering or we may just have tea and cake and enjoy some air conditioning in the hottest hours of what is likely to be a very busy day at MK (over Easter weekend).
