Stainless Steel Rapid Fill option at AKL

I have seen that the skyliner resorts have the skyliner themed stainless steel rapid fill upgrade, and the Poly has had a Star wars one.

Does anyone know if a stainless steel option is available at AKL?

I'm tempted to upgrade for the $10 fee to get more of a 'souvenir'

I didn't realise you could pay a $10 upgrade for this ...that's interesting to know ...that means between bands and cup upgrade an extra $100 for my family...the stainless steel one seems like it is worth the upgrade cost.

It is still not leakproof, but keeps drinks colder or warmer for longer. And looks a lot nicer.
Plus less plastic!

Yes totally agree about less plastic ...me and dh saw them in a vlog the other day and liked the look of them ...better paying an upgrade than adding to the ones we already have Appreciate the thread thanks for bringing it to my attention

I'm just hoping there is an option at AKL.

Just see the dis starwars one didn't realise it would just be at the poly... at worst you could wait to visit another resort to pick them up I guess...its a bit of a pain though... yiu would think they would be at all the resorts .

I have so far found that The Star Wars stainless steel mugs have been seen at All Star Movies, SSR and Poly.
They are supposedly at all non-skyline resorts, but yet to confirm that, so fingers crossed.
I will keep researching!

Definitely the way forward as we end up binning the plastic ones at the end of the holiday, where as this would have more chance of use at home

I’ve recently seen on another group the Star Wars ones are available at Port Orleans French Quarter. I imagine AKL would have some!

Any stainless steel mugs or tumblers ( Tervis included) will be a very welcome change although I’m not sure how they will work as a length of stay mug yet. Less plastic is the way to go and these new tumblers/ mugs should last longer than the plastic ones. We always save our plastic ones to use at home but they scratch up something awful. I’m hoping the steel ones are more rugged.
