Saw a night time shuttle launch many many years ago, maybe 2000.

It was amazing to see it light up the sky in that way

Absolutely awesome to see

We ended up watching it stuck in traffic on the highway just before the slip road off the motorway to head for KSC

It was a really cool and happy experience as everyone was excited to see it.

We went to Titusville Jetty the other day. Awesome 😎 Space X took off bang on time. About 3-4 mins after we saw the rocket lift off, the sound and air hit us. Then 8-9 mins later the fuel rocket re-entered and landed to our right. A few minutes later, the sonic boom hit us.
Fantastic experience.

We went to see the space c launch the other day and the space centre was SO busy. Next time I'd find somwhere local to watch it and go to the space centre when it's quieter.

I'll bet all of you who were fortunate enough to witness a shuttle launch will have it stay with you for life.

Many moons ago, we were staying at the Marriott in Clearwater. As we were by the pool, someone came on the mic and told us to look across the bay to the east, as a shuttle launch was about to take place. I was a little sceptical. We were in Clearwater - the opposite side of the state for heaven's sake.

However - man alive - you could track this tiny fireball rising in the sky in broad daylight. And I swear, I may be deluded with my imagination but I could feel the vibrations. Wished I'd seen one close up. Even more so after viewing the one at KSC.

We watched SpaceX on Monday from Space View Park in Titusville. We were right opposite Launchpad 39a so could see the rocket take off and the relanding. Depending on which Launchpad the rocket is going from depends on the best place to view. Playalinda beach is meant to be one of the best places to watch any launch but from research on the internet it is too close for Launchpad 39a and b takeoffs and so they shut the beach. Space View Park is a memorial type park to the astronauts (so good for a look around whilst waiting), has toilet facilities, free parking, pier and plenty of seating areas under trees for shade.

We were lucky enough to be there for the last night launch of the shuttle. Watched it from Spacepark in Titusville, directly opposite, direct view across water. It lit up the whole sky and was one of those experiences I will never forget. Absolutely awesome!

Be aware though launches are often cancelled. We ended going to twice to Titusville as launch first night was cancelled with about 10 minutes to go.

Well worth it though so if you get chance go!

We watched rocket launch on 14th August from Cocoa Beach pier which I enjoyed. The launch was lunch time so nice to have a day at the beach also.
