Oh, I'm SO sorry that I didn't reply to this comment sooner - I just somehow missed it.

Thank you for taking the time to post - it's funny, Poot and I were just talking TODAY (while varnishing his trebuchet - ah, the joys of having sons...) about the best parts of this trip...

I said pandas, baseball and Thomas Jefferson. He said Grandma and meteorites...lol.

Please forgive my tardy reply - and thanks again. :-)

As with MrsSilverStar, I came across this report while reading your Orlando trippie (which I am loving).

I have read your entire Boston trippie in one day and have thoroughly enjoyed it! Sorry I didn't comment at the end of each days trip, but I was being a bit selfish and just wanted to start reading the next day

Your trips have just the right amount of detail and I love your (and Poot's humorous take on things).

I am looking forward to continuing with your Orlando report and any future trippie's

Why, thank you, Briar Rose. What lovely compliments!

I will tell Poot you found him humorous - he will think that a mighty fine thing. Let's keep between us the fact that most of the humour is...unintentional.

The next post for Florida (Dapper Day) should be up by Friday - see you there!

That is a lovely compliment, Gill (and close-reading Peter). Thank you.

The holiday was almost over before it began - as you will see! First our lane was blocked by a tree - and then Irish immigration didn't want to let me in the country...despite the fact that I was born in Ireland...

Aw, thanks.

It's so much fun to go "back in time" and re-visit this holiday. DS and I are going to be back in Boston (for one day, lol) this summer - he's trying to decide what was worthy of a second look!

Hopefully you will still receive this comment! Just happened across this trip report by pure chance and as I am enjoying the Florida one so much, I had to read this one too (although maybe I should have saved it for after work?)
Up to about day 6 and enjoying it so much, I hope you decide to write many more trip reports in the future, or maybe you could keep us all entertained by just reporting your day to day life haha!
I love Poots little anecdotes too and I can't get over how mature his choice in food is! My sister is 16 and her main food groups are plain pasta and pizza (with not too much cheese on) - nightmare.
So looking forward to reading the rest!

Ah, Lucyjane - got you even WITHOUT the nems this time!

A few people have wandered over here after reading my Florida trippie - so I do try to keep up with comments. It's been fun to think about this trip - hard to believe it was a year ago!

I think my favourite trippie photo was "my head in a cannon" (that was a DS one).

Poot's maturity with food is entirely down to my laziness - I was NEVER going to be one of those women who made two dinners every night. Two choices chez nous: TAKE IT or LEAVE IT.

See you soon!
