My own “ kids “ are adults so will get the vaccine at some point

My granddaughter is 2.5 and I’m confident she will be on a plane to Atlanta with us at some point this year .

my parents are going with us they in their 70s so should have their jabs by mid feb i hope. like i said above myself and husbands are in the 30s to 40s ranges so unsure what the time scales are
I am fully expecting masks will need to be worn and the kids are prepared for that too

We have 2 trips booked this year, one last two weeks of august and the other October half term. I’m still hoping to go on both, but I feel the later trip may be more of a certainty. I’m looking at it as we are going until I’m told we aren’t, if that makes sense. Dh and I will be in the last group to be vaccinated, as we are both 53 with no underlying health conditions, so hopefully may have had at least one dose of vaccine before either trip. Ds13 obviously won’t, but I’m happy to pay for tests for him. We are ok about masks too, we might spend a day for two less at the parks and more time at the pool or in state parks etc instead, we’ll just have to wait and see.
