According to a recent thread some Dibbers aren't interested in the age or condition of a rental car but when you average around 1,500 miles each trip I like to sit in something reasonably nice. Naturally the car colour is the first consideration then condition then mileage then extra gizmos then pick the Cadillac that they've accidentally parked in the full size row.

OP - your car is pre-allocated with Avis so unfortunately you don't get to pick. There may be a swap line if you genuinely have a problem with the car.
