Question Bag balm

I have eczema on my hands and my friend has suggested an American product called bag balm - apparently originally used as (honestly!) udder cream!
Once I got over the shudders I realised I'm willing to try anything that'll make my hands less sore and raw all winter. So do any DIBBers out there know if I can buy this stuff anywhere near I-Drive?
Thanks

i've never even heard of this but would be very interested if it works, i have exactly the same problem and survive using dermovate (the only thing that works on my hands), my mum got an eygptian hand cream and that was quite good, think it came from the states, i'll try and find out what that was called too, ahaya, ayava, something like that

Nope - she definitely said Bag balm - a veiled reference to the udders no doubt
It's a type of udder cream but now marketed generally I think - the friend who told me about it is Canadian and it's readily available there - apparently farmer's noticed that when they put it on the cows to stop them drying out it also stopped their hands getting chapped in the winter. I'll check out Badger balm too though Anything to fix this problem.

And Wazzimama - if you can remember the name of the Egyptian cream. I'm willing to try anything! My hands aren't always bad but they are awful in the winter - the skin breaks - I work with the public and it's not nice to have bleeding hands
