We have also decided to postpone next years trip until Oct 2018. Do you know if you can transfer your deposit to a new booking? We're looking at booking in April if/when free dining is offered.

Another couple who have postponed, similar age to you (i'm 25) and we are saving for our deposit. So we've decided on 4 nights @ Newport Bay instead.

Couldn't go a whole year without Disney!

Oh I didn't know that! How do you go about it? Wait until the offers become available and then phone up and transfer/cancel?

I called a few weeks ago and was told to call back in March to push my booking from Oct 2017 to Oct 2018 and then I wouldn't lose my deposit. The lady said it just had to be done before the balance was due in August.

I don't know how it will work with free dining and prices but you can move the booking. Guess we'll find out in March/April!
