Where is the nearest Walmart to Port Orlans FQ please

Hello everyone

WE are flying out very soon and I just wondered as we do intend driving on holiday will it be very difficult to get to the shops such as Walmart and perhaps other good outlet stores

I would like to buy Sketchers for myself and Converse for my son if they are cheaper than here.

Many thanks

Fiona

The closest Walmart will be the one on SR535 at Polynesian Isles, there is also a new store on Turkey Lake Road a little further away but a nicer store.

There is a Skechers outlet at Premium Outlets and a Converse one at Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores, both off SR535.

All are easy to find and on main roads.

The best solution is to get to Down Town Disney and then get a cab to Walmart and the outlets. They are only max 10 mins away from DTD so wont cost much.BV outlets is only 2 mins in a car from Walmart so you can do them at the same time

Staying onsite your best bet is probably a taxi. You can get one from POFQ or as someone mentioned go to DTD first and get one from there, should be a little cheaper.

My advice would be to hire a car . Driving in orlando is easier than at home and you will enjoy your holiday so much more . You will be able to come and go as you please from the parks and after a couple of days you will love the freedom a car gives you.

We've been twice with no car and it hasn't prevented us from doing anything we've wanted to. Not everyone feels comfortable driving in another country or can even drive at all and there are excellent alternatives in Orlando so I don't think it's true that you won't get the most out of your holiday without a car.

It cost us $15 each way last year to get a taxi from POFQ to Walmart, including tip.

I think it was about $11-$12 to go to Premium Outlets. We then took a walk to Publix.
