Snacks on return from MCO and security

When we were there two years ago they wanted us to open every single sweet wrapper as well as all the food stuffs and empty water bottles and confiscated many bags of candy(thankfully not ours) from the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Fortunately we had plans to eat within the airport after the security lines were cleared. However they kept switching the line and making it longer and holding more people in place for well over an hour before we got through the security lines and past the body scanners where they were being extra super vigilant too.. it was torture for families with young children as the air con wasn’t working either and the place stank of sweaty bodies and there were many frayed tempers too. Thank goodness most of our stuff was in the checked in bags and we only had Lifesavers, skittles and gum in our carry on bags but even those had to pass inspection.

Seems they do it now and then , we had it done on 2018 but not just two weeks ago , really inconsistent.
