If you buy over here you can have a practice with it first to find out how it works. Buy over there & you have to take important photos straight away.

this is true, im certainly no picture expert! been on walmart and seen some nice ones at better prices than here, ill just neeed to see if any specials pop up between now and sept to tempt me!

Argos have some really good deals at the moment (catalogue clearance) on digital cameras some are up to half the catalogue price.

have a look online but i think it may be worth lookin in your local store as the ones we have are managers specials(look above the collection desk or tills thats where our are) so some may depend on the stores stock.

I bought a Canon Sureshot in Walmart in May this year for £112 ($225), list price in the UK and Jessops was £369. An 2gb SD card was £7 (a few £'s cheaper than here - but not much).

I also bought an Ipod at nearly half the price.

So a BIG YES from me - most deffo
