The WDW ones aren't really disposible. We've had a set for many years and they're still as good as new. In fact we've still got a set of the yellow ones!

As for if they're worth it - well that really depends on you, if you definately want a poncho then yes they are worth the money for the quality you get but if you don't mind getting a bit (or a lot) wet then there's really no point in having one.

We brought some for the kids for when it rained-but i personally would rather get wet than wander round looking like a giant c****m on legs

We bought some last year from Walmart and didn't realise there were buttons down the side until we had been there for about a week, we got absolutely drenched the first few times it rained!
