Used to love the old Mercado centre this development will be great for ID. Another excuse to go back not that I need one though.

Im Not Being Funny But Cant They Create Something Different?
With Legoland, This Eye Thing And Madame Tousuades I Might Aswell Stay In Blooming London! I Know Merlin Are Obv Trying To Expand But They Need To Use There Imagination! I Know The FL Eye Will Have Different Views To Look At But Its All So Samey! Whatever Happened To Individualism! The London Eye Is A British Landmark, Along With Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Millenium Dome And The Gherkin Thing! They Cant Just Make A New One! Its Hard Enough To Get People Holidaying In England As It Is Let Alone Copying The Entertainment We Have Too

 Hopefully this will start attracting people back to i-drive and also then get other companies investing and redeveloping bits that need it... Definately long overdue and can't wait

Actually I'm quite disappointed by this announcement.
The eye wheel may be interesting, but loads of cities now have them and I don't really see this as a big draw. Madam Tussauds is fairly tacky in London and Vegas so not really any draw for me either and the rest is quite vague. I don't really see this as a major attraction and it would take more than this to make me venture into IDrive again!

Great that there are new developments coming to I Drive but i'll bet we will see the prices of the hotels rise with the new influx of visitors its going to attract
