What month is best for crowds
I know this is a bit of hard question to answer as Florida is now busy all year round but is there certain months where crowds have been known to be less? We have done January before and after 5th the crowds where hardly anything but that was 8 years ago. We also done Easter which was hell on earth Any recommendations on a month where crowds are more manageable if that even exists in Disney now.

We have been October and love it. Weather is still lovely but parks are not overcrowded.

Does October have the parks decorated for Halloween? That would be a nice extra if it was. We done easter and more or less Christmas as the decorations where all up when we where there, the halloween would be a good one to catch. Any dates to avoid in October?

been September and October, October was more busy for us, September rides where mainly walk on, but this was back in 2012 so could have changed now. Both months have the Halloween decs up.

October was busy last year, and continues to become more popular. There are still pockets here and there that are should still be low, but they are getting few and far between now. And even historically quiet times like mid-January saw surprising crowds this year.
September is probably the best bet now if you want a good few weeks of low season. Schools are back which brings the crowds down considerably, but it is peak hurricane season so that's something to keep in mind. You will get the Halloween decorations and parties as mentioned above though. Edited at 10:40 PM. |

We went in October / November last year and thought it was fantastic. No major queues at all (we did FOA at rope drop one day) and the weather was great.
We had one really busy day in MK but that was after one of the Disney runs. We simply went of to HS which was much quieter. Can't go back now in October due to the kids ages but we would if we could. |
